Open a Link you received

Start confidently when a company sends you a Link, even if you have never used Link before.

A company may send you a Link to a client overview, a project, or one specific page. It is designed to give you the current version of the work in one place, so you do not need to reconstruct the project from a long email thread.

You do not need to set up Link to view a public page.

If the page is public, it opens immediately. If it is private, Link will ask you to sign in with the email address the company invited.

What the company shared with you

The page title tells you whether you are looking at a complete client overview, one project, or a focused page within a project. The company controls what appears, and the page can change as the work moves forward.

Use the page itself as the current reference for status, dates, scope, files, tasks, and delivery notes. If something conflicts with an older message, ask the company which version should guide the work.

Client overview A calm overview of the projects and dates the company has shared with you.
Project page The status, scope, timeline, people, estimate, and working material for one project.
Nested page A focused brief, review, handover, or other page inside a project.

Public and private Links

A public Link can be opened by anyone who has the URL. A private Link is limited to invited people and asks you to sign in before showing the work.

The access rule applies to the exact page you opened. A public client overview does not automatically make every project or page beneath it public.

  • If the page opens immediately, review it without creating an account.
  • If Link asks for your email, use the address where you received the invitation.
  • If the page says it is private or unavailable, ask the sender to check your access and the exact URL.

Make your first review useful

Start at the top: confirm the client or project name, current status, and important dates. Then scan the page headings before opening files or following child pages.

When you reply to the sender, name the page and the decision you are responding to. That makes it much easier for everyone to keep the page and the conversation aligned.

If something looks wrong

Check that the address ends in using.link and that you opened the newest link from the company. A company may use its own workspace address, such as company.using.link.

Do not forward a private sign-in code. If you are unsure whether the message is genuine, contact the company through a channel you already trust before entering your email.
