Sign in to private work

Use the correct email and sign-in code to open the private client work shared with you.

Private work follows your invited identity Use the same email from invitation to access.
  1. 01
    Open Invitation or private Link
  2. 02
    Enter Your invited email
  3. 03
    Check Email for a code

Private client work is protected by your email address. You sign in without creating a password: Link sends a short-lived code to the exact address that has access.

Use the exact invited email address.

A work address and a personal address count as different identities, even when both belong to you. If you use the wrong one, Link cannot match you to the invitation.

Step 1

Sign in step by step

Open the invitation or private Link and follow the sign-in prompt on the company’s Link workspace.

  • Enter the email address where the company invited you.
  • Open the newest message from Link and copy the sign-in code.
  • Return to the same browser and enter the code.
  • Link returns you to the workspace or page you were trying to open.
Keep the exact Link with the conversation.

It helps the company identify the workspace, project, and page you are asking about.

If the code does not arrive

Wait a moment, then check spam, junk, and any mail filtering used by your company. Search for the newest Link sign-in message instead of reusing an older code.

If you entered the wrong address, go back and start again with the invited email. Repeatedly requesting codes can leave several messages in your inbox, so always use the newest one.

If you are signed in but cannot see the page

Being signed in confirms who you are; it does not grant access by itself. The company still decides which client and projects are assigned to you.

Send the company the page URL and the email address you used. Ask them to confirm that your access includes that project. Do not send your sign-in code.

Wrong email Sign out and return with the address that received the invitation.
Wrong project Ask the company whether that project is included in your access.
Old link Ask the sender for the current Link if the page was moved or replaced.

If more than one company uses Link with you

Each company has its own workspace and address. Your email can belong to more than one workspace, but the projects and permissions stay separate.

Use the company name and workspace address to confirm where you are. Return to the original invitation if you need to switch back to a different company’s work.
